Dré Antoun, Board President
Dré Antoun, President, Board of Directors. “My life has been an incredible series of tragedies and miracles.” As a child Ms Antoun experienced the progressive disability and alcoholism of a beloved father, and a mother who abused prescription medicine. Both parents died while she was in her teens but was blessed with foster parents who became her role model for a good family structure. Unfortunately, she married a pedophile and, because of that, lost her daughters to foster care. One of her daughters died in the foster care system and she began a long search for justice. As retaliation, her other daughter was kept from her for ten years. Ms Antoun experienced six years of homelessness, including two years in Sonoma County. She is the former vice chair of Tri-County policy council for Head Start.
