Adrienne Lauby, Board President

Ms Lauby is currently the President of SAVS. She is the co-founder, host and producer of 16 years of “Pushing Limits” KPFA radio’s disability program; a 9-year member of the Organizing Committee for Racial Justice Allies of Sonoma County; and a co-founder of Homeless Action! She brings a lifetime of experience with poverty, disability, homelessness, social service programs, and organizing.

Ms. Lauby has been honored for her homeless work by the “Russ and Mary Jorgensen Courage of Commitment Award” from the Peace and Justice Center of Sonoma County and the “The Marijke Byck Spirit of Community Award” from the Sonoma County Taskforce for The Homeless. Her face is part of a mural at The Living Room.

Ms. Lauby has a BA (English & Speech) from Creighton University, and an MA (English) from Sonoma State University, 1992.
