Mr. Fearon has given four decades of service on local and statewide public nonprofit boards of directors, including two decades as Treasurer on many of them. He has also provided decades of training for nonprofit bookkeepers, controllers, CFOs, and treasurers in local, state, and national nonprofit support centers. He is one of the founders of the Sonoma County Volunteer Center’s nonprofit financial managers monthly roundtable.

Mr. Fearon has also utilized his own resources since a teenager in service of legal and social justice through direct court filings, financial support, and service on the boards of the Legal Services Corporation and local human rights organizations. He has been appointed by County and State officials to represent low income residents in the implementation and improvement of public services, and in ensuring that issues of equity and access are addressed effectively.
