You Can Help End Homelessness in Sonoma County
Co-managed villages bring dignity and safety to all who live there.
SAVS Guiding Principles
Tiny Villages come in many Solutions Safe Parking, RV Parks, Tiny Homes
There are all kinds of creative solutions to homelessness. We’ve looked at many solutions and are pursuing the three most practical solutions.
Safe Parking
We can provide safe parking with facilities for hygiene on unused lots at places like churches or warehouses. With 30% of Sonoma County’s unsheltered having cars, safe parking is cost-effective and easily established.
Sanctioned RV Parks
SAVS can setup RV parks on unimproved lots or open spaces to create a place with safe distancing, common eating and sanitation services as well as electricity and running water.
Tiny Home Villages
Tiny home villages are the long term solution to housing for the homeless. That’s because they provide permanent housing to those that cannot afford market rate houses or even rent subsidized housing. They are affordable, efficient and enhance the community around them.

We Are Passionate Advocates Born of Activism, Driven by Pragmatism
The SAVS team has over 50 combined years advocating for the unsheltered in Sonoma County.
We know homelessness is a complex issue and that long-term solutions include subsidized housing, alternative housing solutions and better mental health services.
We also know that tiny villages are the best solution for giving safe shelter to those without, here in Sonoma County.
SAVS works with government and nonprofit partners to execute services ranging from meal preparation and delivery to providing outreach and an entry way to permanent housing throughout the county.

Co-managed Villages Commitment to the Community
Did you know that 85% of all homeless in Sonoma County lived in the county prior to becoming homeless?
Uniquely, SAVS is dedicated to co-managing each village with our residents to create a warm, welcome and stable home.
SAVS will provide food, safety and coordinate services – like healthcare and access to social service programs as well as coordinated entry services at each tiny village. For their part, residents will provide site safety, sanitation and conflict resolution services while living on site.
Please get involved! Your land, donations and volunteering efforts significantly improve the lives of everyone in Sonoma County.
