SAVS Works in our Community Every Day
SAVS is committed to the health and well being of every person in Sonoma County. We prefer to be out in the community – working on practical solutions that improve the lives of the unsheltered and all Sonoma County citizens. Here are a few of the things we are working on right now.
Safe Parking
Safe parking turns empty parking spaces into a safe place to sleep for the night. It is the quickest way to provide sanctioned, safe, clean, social distancing interim “housing” for the unsheltered in our community.
Your church, business or large lot is a great candidate for safe parking spaces. Contact us if you have some extra space.

Outreach for Sonoma County
SAVS provides outreach to the unsheltered on behalf of Sonoma County. Outreach services include educating the homeless community about existing social services, helping register cars and RV’s, adding individuals to the key tracking system that impact homeless policy and ultimately getting them on the official path to permanent housing.
Innovative Village Designs
SAVS innovative village concept combines safe parking, RV/Camping and tiny homes in one location. The village provides a communal food, laundy and security spaces and gives residents a permanent place to stay where they can work with their case managers so they efficiently receive services.
All residents will be required to sign a contract that outlines their strict adherence to the organization/facility’s code of conduct. Residents will be able to access the assistance of SAVS staff for any and all concerns or suggestions related to the facility, services, and issues relating to other residents.
